Picture of Boracay Island taken from the famous Mount Luho view point .

Sorry I’ve been a little lazy with my blogs lately .Actually, I’ve had some health issue’s which prevented me from sitting at the computer .

A couple of weeks ago my son and I rode our bicycles up to Boracay’s highest peak , Mount Luho .It was a hard ride on the young chap but once we reach the top , we both smiled as the view was breathtaking .The 50 peso admission fee to Mount Luho is worth every peso as it’s not only a magnificent view , but also a zoo offering different Philippine animals like monkeys, snakes, eagles , hawks , lizards ,and even a peacock.Mount Luho is famous here on Boracay and is a very popular attraction and rarely are you alone at the top . Best time to visit is weekday’s , during sunset or sunrise .

If you haven’t visited Boracay in a while , check out the photo of Boracay above ,and notice all the development along the White Beach .The right side of the photo shows White Beach , and the left side is the windsurfing beach on the east coast , Bulabog Beach .Basically from one side of Boracay to the other , development has taken over the island and left very little open space. The white building’s at the front left side of photo are condominiums which are selling for 100’s of thousands of U.S. dollars .I guess the White Beach is to congested and land to expensive so developers are moving onto the cliff sides along Bulabog to build their projects.

When you come to Boracay make sure you take in Mt. Luho .It’s a fun way to see the entire island while educating your kids about some Philippine animals . Fun for the whole family. On your way down you can stop by one of the many condominium projects and purchase your piece of paradise ….

      Yours Truly,

      John Munro
